English Lake, an investment-grade property, has tremendous recreational and agricultural assets. The property was acquired by our principal in the spring of 2006 along with one of our long-term investment partners. The farm consisted of 9,700 (+/-) acres situated along the Arkansas River and the Bayou Meto Wildlife Management Area near Cornerstone, Arkansas. Our agency handled transforming the farm from one whole farm to six separate farms. We handled the marketing of the properties, which resulted in the properties selling to three separate investors.
We represented 12 landowners in the successful enrollement of 7,200 acres into the Wetlands Reserve Program in 1999. At the time, this was the largest enrollment of WRP in the United States. Restoration and tree planting was completed in the winter of 2004-05.
Wetland Reserve Program project, involving representation of 17 landowners encompassing land along and off the east bank of the Arkansas River totaling 11,400 acres in Lonoke, Jefferson and Pulaski Counties. Scheduled to close in 2006.
Impressive 3,150-acre grain and cotton farm, the sale of which we facilitated for the landowner, which served as a great investment for a national industrial company in February of 2001.
Storied Mississippi River island and Arkansas mainland, consisting of approximately 8,000 acres. We facilitated the sale for the landowner in 2001 to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission for the creation of a new public use wildlife management area.
Acquired by our principal, along with two investors in April of 2003. This 3,800-acre grain farm and recreational tract has been developed into a true trophy property, featuring renowned waterfowl and deer hunting, as well as fishing.
Acquired by our principal in late 2002, this property assembled from four land owners in southern Pulaski County and consisting of 1,150 acres has been enrolled in the Wetland Reserve Program and is undergoing intensive and ongoing development to provide premium habitat to waterfowl, deer, and other wildlife.
Developed in 2000 by our principal and three partners, this 755-acre property is intensely managed for three corporate recreational memberships. The property features some of the finest green tree reservoir duck hunting and fishing on the Grand Prairie south of Stuttgart.
