Wild Wing Hunting Club

Our principal represented the Buyer in the complex acquisition of Wild Wings Hunting Club and Farm in the fall of 2010.  Wild Wings is a farming operation and old-time, green-timber duck hunting club located between Stuttgart and Humphrey, Arkansas.  The property is a true trophy consisting of a beautiful lodge, fishing lake, grain farm, and impounded timber.  Wild Wings offers outstanding duck hunting in the timber and fields during the autumn months.  Deer, turkey, dove, and fishing are also in big supply.

Goose Lake

In the autumn of 2008 our principal, along with one investor acquired the 1,970 (+/-) acre Goose Lake tract. This unique bottomland timber property bisects the famous Bayou Meto Wildlife Management Area and offers some of the finest green-timber duck hunting in Arkansas. Since the acquisition the property has been going through major development to enhance the wildlife and natural resource assets with the mission to create one of Arkansas's finest outdoor recreational properties.

Snake Island

In the fall of 2008 Brandon Stafford, along with one investor acquired 500 (+/-) acres from three landowners in Lonoke County, just north of the town of Humnoke. Since the acquisition, the property has been going through major development to enhance the farming operations. Currently over 50% of the tillable acres have been formed into zero grade for continuous rice production. Other developments include a tail-water recovery system that recaptures 100% of the farms irrigation water, and gravity flow water structures built into an existing 50-acre reservoir.  Future plans include further enhancing the farms surface water capacity, and the addition of on site grain storage.

Elmwood Farm

Acquired in the winter of 2007, the current ownership group consists of Gar Lile, Brandon Stafford, and two other investors. This unique farm is a diversified 930 (+/-)  acres located in Jefferson County near the community of Cornerstone. This property is bordered by Swan Lake to the east, and just two miles south of the famed Bayou Meto Wildlife Management Area. Since acquisition the property has been going through major development to enhance the wildlife and farming operations. In the summer of 2008, 28 pipes with flash board risors were installed to better assist with water management and in the fall of 2008, a 33 (+/-)  acre moist-soil impoundment was constructed to provide additional waterfowl habitat. In the spring of 2009, 140 (+/-)  acres was precision leveled and is currently planted in corn. Over 650 (+/-)  acres have been enrolled in the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) and planted in mixed species hardwoods, 135 of those acres have also be enrolled simultaneously with Green Trees, and planted in cottonwoods.  Future plans include the addition of more food plots, an improved boat ramp into the lake, and the construction of a 14-acre moist-soil impoundment.

English Lake

English Lake, an investment-grade property, has tremendous recreational and agricultural assets. The property was acquired by our principal in the spring of 2006 along with one of our long-term investment partners. The farm consisted of 9,700 (+/-) acres situated along the Arkansas River and the Bayou Meto Wildlife Management Area near Cornerstone, Arkansas. Our agency handled transforming the farm from one whole farm to six separate farms. We handled the marketing of the properties, which resulted in the properties selling to three separate investors.

Woodson Joint Venture

We represented 12 landowners in the successful enrollement of 7,200 acres into the Wetlands Reserve Program in 1999.  At the time, this was the largest enrollment of WRP in the United States.  Restoration and tree planting was completed in the winter of 2004-05.

England Joint Venture

Wetland Reserve Program project, involving representation of 17 landowners encompassing land along and off the east bank of the Arkansas River totaling 11,400 acres in Lonoke, Jefferson and Pulaski Counties.  Scheduled to close in 2006.

Arkansas River Land Company

Impressive 3,150-acre grain and cotton farm, the sale of which we facilitated for the landowner, which served as a great investment for a national industrial company in February of 2001.

Choctaw Island

Storied Mississippi River island and Arkansas mainland, consisting of approximately 8,000 acres.  We facilitated the sale for the landowner in 2001 to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission for the creation of a new public use wildlife management area.

Hamilton Plantation

Acquired by our principal, along with two investors in April of 2003. This 3,800-acre grain farm and recreational tract has been developed into a true trophy property, featuring renowned waterfowl and deer hunting, as well as fishing.

Goose Pond

Acquired by our principal in late 2002, this property assembled from four land owners in southern Pulaski County and consisting of 1,150 acres has been enrolled in the Wetland Reserve Program and is undergoing intensive and ongoing development to provide premium habitat to waterfowl, deer, and other wildlife.

Benson Lake

Developed in 2000 by our principal and three partners, this 755-acre property is intensely managed for three corporate recreational memberships.  The property features some of the finest green-tree reservoir duck hunting and fishing on the Grand Prairie south of Stuttgart.
